February saw us visit the USA and we took advantage of this opportunity to bring back some american chocolates that we otherwise can’t get to Australia. Our March subscriber boxes saw us reveal part 1 of this special collection: bars from Raaka (famous for their unroasted bars ) and TCHO (who we were able to visit in Berkeley).
Our Australian bar comes to us from the new Ratio Cocoa Roasters in Brunswick, Melbourne. Debbie has spent 2 years planning every detail of their product and shop fit out and will quickly become one of the great places to visit in the focal city of Australian chocolate. The forth chocolate maker, Ola Pacifica, supplied us with two bars – their dark bar with vanilla and dark bar with cinnamon. Nia makes these bars in New Zealand with cacao grown and farmed by family and friends in Samoa.
