Steve Ward and Phoebe Preuss founded Living Koko from a desire to reconnect with and support local people. They both have truly amazing stories. Steve survived the 2013 PNG Black Cat Trail attack. He’s since been dedicated to supporting the families of the porters who lost their lives. His recent support of the local cocoa industry is making a big difference to that community.

Phoebe’s grandfather worked in the Samoan cacao industry early last century. He created the strain LAFI7 which became famous & widely used across the country. She is now reconnecting with her grandfather’s community.

Phoebe’s grandfather also started the first village marching band in Samoa! Visit their website to learn more about their wonderful community projects in Samoa & PNG.
