This smooth dark chocolate is infused with cinnamon and Guajillo chili – a red chili from the capsicum family commonly used in Mexican cooking. It is then topped with toasted almonds to give a crunchy, Mexican-inspired bar.
Note: This bar has a best before date of Jan-2019. It may lose it’s temper but will still taste great!
Damaris Ronkanen has always been passionate about food, cooking and chocolate. As a kid she loved visiting her grandparents in Mexico and tasting how different chocolate was there to the USA. After working as a pastry chef in some of Colorado’s best restaurants, Damaris started Dead Dog Chocolates, making traditional Mexican style chocolates.
In 2016 she pivoted to making traditional European style chocolate, with flavours inspired by Mexican food and culture, as well as the history of the communities where cacao originated. See more
