This light brown chocolate is made with the Nicalizo beans from Nicaragua. One of the ‘Heirloom’ varieties it might awaken senses of dried fruit or something woody. A perfect after dinner chocolate to pair with a tawny port or brandy.
Tomoko and Sue started Feitoria Do Cacao after visiting the country of Sao Tome and falling in love with the origins of chocolate. They confronted the amazing reality of cacao - both the gorgeous plantations and the harsh reality of life as a farmer.
