The beans in this bar are sweet, with notes of raisins and nuts. The high cocoa content means the added milk simply softens the intensity of the cocoa, without losing the flavour. It goes beautifully with coffee, but also with a stout beer.
Tomoko and Sue started Feitoria Do Cacao after visiting the country of Sao Tome and falling in love with the origins of chocolate. They confronted the amazing reality of cacao - both the gorgeous plantations and the harsh reality of life as a farmer.
This trip inspired them to connect with and support the farmers who make chocolate possible. Sharing this passion with the Portuguese market they’ve become wildly successful with their beautiful bars. See more
