Li Peng Monroe makes chocolate in her small factory in Canberra. She decided to call her chocolate Jasper & Myrtle to highlight the Australian origins of her business. Jasper is a semi-precious stone found in Western Australia where she spent many years, while Myrtle is commonly found around Northern New South Wales where her partner, Peter comes from.
As well as making single origin bars, which allow the flavour of the cocoa to shine, Li Peng enjoys the challenge of finding flavours that enhance the natural characteristics of the cocoa. See more
