Some of Peru’s most exquisite coca is grown in the Alto Piura Valley. The high proportion of Criollo cocoa gives the resulting cocoa a balanced flavour. In these bars this comes through as savoury truffle notes and ripe red cherry sweetness.
Ranger chocolate was created from a passion for sharing chocolate and life with friends and family. Based in Portland Oregon they specialise in using cocoa beans from the various parts of Peru to showcase the influence of terroir and genetics on the resulting chocolate flavour.
