The organic cocoa for this chocolate comes from the immediate vicinity of Virunga, Africa’s oldest national park, famous for its mountain gorillas. Its area of cultivation stretches from the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains to the tropical forest of the Congo Basin. In addition to the chocolatey and tea aromas, so characteristic to Amelonado beans, cinnamon, passion fruit and fig notes are also present in this chocolate.
With a shop in the central Arts District of Budapest, the team at Rózsavölgyi Csokoládé are committed to chocolate as an art form. They use traditional Hungarian shapes and patterns within a modern view, resulting in detailed yet contemporary designs. This mix of old and new continues in their use of traditional processes and pure ingredients to highlight the natural flavours of the cocoa they work with. They aim to bring consistency without compromising quality. See more
