Chocolate tasting with Dick Taylor

We are super excited that Adam Dick, of the famous Dick Taylor chocolates, is going to be in Sydney next week. Not only will he be here, but we have also organised for him to help out with our inaugural (& somewhat impromptu!) Bean Bar You chocolate tasting event!

Date: Thursday the 4th of May
Time:  6 – 7.30pm
Venue:  In the Annex Cafe, 35 Ross St, Forest Lodge.

Out of stock

As well as tasting some Dick Taylor chocolate, we will taste bean to bar chocolates from around the world (including our current trip to Japan!). We will learn about and compare the flavours of different origins, conching times, chocolate makers and ingredients. What a great opportunity to learn more about craft chocolate from one of the best in the world, and of cause, to meet like minded chocoholics! Drinks & snacks will also be provided.

This smooth chocolate has an aroma of dried plums, with hints of tart cherry and some spiciness. It is made with all organic ingredients, and contains no soy, dairy or gluten. Dustin and Adam went from building boats to making chocolate. Passionate about making things by hand, the boys have never shied away from a challenge in order to produce a beautiful product. In their small factory in Eureka, California it takes them tree weeks to make their chocolate in a way that highlights the unique flavours of the cocoa they’ve sourced from fair-trade farms around the world. They love making chocolate, and hope you enjoy eating it just as much! See more
