HEAT DAMAGED: The latest batch of these gorgous bars had an unlucky trip to us (ice storm in the US, soaked in Hawaii, supper hot weather in Sydney) – they are untmpered / partly melted but but taste amazing.
Our first chocolate bar made in Norway, and it’s a real gem. This bar won the “best in competition” dark chocolate award at the 2024 World Finals of the International chocolate awards.
“The flavour notes are not added, but come naturally from the cocoa, which has been optimally processed at all stages of production. The Tupayachi family lives in Quellouno. Three generations ago, the grandparents emigrated to the jungles of Cusco in search of treasure. They found that in the form of Chuncho cocoa. Today, the family runs an agro-ecological cocoa plantation. This means that they look after and protect microorganisms, animals and soil on the plantation. Vigdis herself lived and worked on the plantation for a week and helped harvest the cocoa in this chocolate.”
Ingredients: Cacao beans, sugar
Awards: 2024 International chocolate awards – World Final “best in competition”.
