Damaris Ronkanen has always been passionate about food, cooking and chocolate. As a kid she loved visiting her grandparents in Mexico and tasting how different chocolate was there to the USA. After working as a pastry chef in some of Colorado’s best restaurants, Damaris started Dead Dog Chocolates, making traditional Mexican style chocolates.
In 2016 she pivoted to making traditional European style chocolate, with flavours inspired by Mexican food and culture, as well as the history of the communities where cacao originated. See more
