Markham & Fitz

MarkhamFitz_70DominicanRepublic

Lauren Blanco runs Markham & Fitz in Bentonville, Arkansas. She started making chocolate with her partner Preston Stewart in 2014 under the name of “Hello Cocoa”. In 2017 they changed their name to reflect special parts of the founders – Person’s son’s middle name (Markham) and Lauren’s dog (Fitz). It’s a great name!

Sustainability is one of their key foundations. They’ve won Good Food awards and were featured in “The O Magazine – Sustainability issue” (2020).  Their business goals include getting to zero waste, making a positive financial impact in farming communities and providing fulfilling and meaningful work for everyone involved in the company. Lauren has won multiple awards in Arkansas for her business and leadership but the chocolate speaks for it’s self!
