Tobagonian-born Duane Dove grew up on the island of Tobago. He spent a large part of his childhood helping out on the family’s cocoa estate which involved harvesting, fermenting, sun drying cocoa beans and grading them.
In 2004 he decided to begin the long journey of rejuvenating Tobago´s once vibrant and productive cocoa industry. The Tobago Cocoa Estate, located in the district of Roxborough, now grows cocoa among other crops such as bananas, coffee, cassava, guava, and papaya.www.tobagococoa.com
