Franceschi Chocolate is a family-run business that is passionate about promoting the ‘art of origin’ in dark chocolate. They have identified, rescued and cultivated a range of ancestral Venezuelan criollo and trinitario bean varieties. They want to highlight the unique aroma, texture and flavours of cocoa from the different regions of Venezuela.

They are particularly interested in post-harvest processing, and how this can enhance the unique characteristics of different cocoa varieties.
Not only have Franceschi won foodie awards for their chocolate, they have also won environmental awards for their conservation efforts in preserving and growing cocoa in Venezuela.
