Beau Cacao


Bo San and Thomas started Beau Cacao in 2013 as a way to reject the common, mass produced approach to making chocolate. They wanted to make chocolate with a more direct connection between farmer and consumer, so that both are better off.

With backgrounds in design and customer service, they are inspired to make chocolate that is indulgent, rewarding and pleasurable. However, they also take their responsibility to the environment and it’s people seriously, and are committed to developing lasting relationships with their cacao farming partners in Malaysia.
Bo and Thomas are true globetrotters. They met working in the ski resorts of New Zealand, and have since lived in Toyko, Melbourne, Southeast Asia, and London.
