Milk Chocolate Single Origin Tanzania is crafted from bean to bar, using organic cocoa beans from Tanzania, harvested by Kokoa Kamili. With butter family flavour notes of toffee and caramel, this naturally creamy milk chocolate is wrapped by Emirati designer, artist, and children’s book illustrator, Wafa Ibrahim.
Kathy Johnston and small group of like-minded colleagues set out to make the first bean to bar chocolate in Dubai. They are passionate about wanting the best quality chocolate, and spent over 2 years in the planning. The packaging and bars have captured the worlds attention at Chocolate festivals and by word of mouth and on social media.
Their story follows the ancient maritime Spice Route - their cocoa beans and spice ingredients come from plantations dotted along the spice route, to Dubai, which itself has grown from being a trading port and spice souk. See more
