"Our story began in 2012 when we created our first drinking chocolate tailored to the speciality coffee scene in Melbourne. With our focus on the dark and pure flavours of cacao, it upended the city’s expectation on café hot chocolates and set a new standard. From our bean to bar chocolate factory in North Melbourne we create new flavour experiences by roasting, winnowing and refining exceptional cacao into chocolate. We work closely with producers that value preservation of heirloom cacao varietals and organic farming methods, while building and improving farming communities. With cafes all over the world serving our drinking chocolate, and our first chocolate bars launched, we have come a long way from where we started. We love what Chris and Alison have built with BeanBarYou, bringing the work of chocolate makers from Australia and all over the world closer to curious consumers, and we are so excited to finally have our bars be part of it.
