From Simon and Aimee: This bar delivers notes of red stone fruit (think cherries and plums) with a smooth layered finish. We think it’s a delicious expression of the Kilombero Valley region. The outstanding organic cacao used in this bar is farmed by a collection of smallholder farmers in the Kilombero Valley, bordering the Udzungwa Mountain National Park in Tanzania. We hand sort, roast, crack, winnow and stone grind for up to 80 hours before ageing our chocolate. We then temper, mould and hand-wrap each bar in our little factory.
