Indian cacao took the world by storm in 2018. It’s not a new thing (cacao arrived in India in 1778) but the flavours developing there were hidden until the recent advances in cacao harvesting. This was our first India bar we’re excited to share it with you. Can you taste: raisins, fig, notes of citrus, prune, maybe a bouquet of eastern spices?
Russia wasn't well known for it's chocolate making but this is changing in recent years. In 2016 Olga Yarovikova started Amazing Cacao. She travels the world hunting down beans and not only imports them to make her chocolate but also supplies them on the Russian market to help other budding makers. They specialise in organic products. We are the first people outside of Russia to enjoy these bars - paying for the shipment was so complicated (we failed 3 times) that we ended up paying Olga in cash at the North West Chocolate Festival last year. We think it was worth the effort. See more
