A 70% single-origin dark chocolate bar made with delicious cacao from the Dominican Republic. Their best-selling chocolate bar and perfect balance of sweetness. Look for flavours of ripe berry, chicory, brownie. (Batch #218)
This bar has a best before date of 1/JUN/2023. It is also potentially heat damaged – it will still be perfectly fine to enjoy but may have lost it’s temper / appear bloomed. Let it warm and melt in your mouth extra slowly and you’ll be rewarded (or melt it and create a beverage you’ll never forget).

Lauren Blanco runs Markham & Fitz in Bentonville, Arkansas. She started making chocolate with her partner Preston Stewart in 2014 under the name of "Hello Cocoa". In 2017 they changed their name to reflect special parts of the founders - Person's son's middle name (Markham) and Lauren's dog (Fitz). It's a great name!Sustainability is one of their key foundations. They've won Good Food awards and were featured in "The O Magazine - Sustainability issue" (2020). Their business goals include getting to zero waste, making a positive financial impact in farming communities and providing fulfilling and meaningful work for everyone involved in the company. Lauren has won multiple awards in Arkansas for her business and leadership but the chocolate speaks for it's self! See more
