Born from long conversations between founding partners Juan Carlos Garavito and Paola Forero, Moxẽ represents more than chocolate – it’s a dream made tangible. They envisioned creating a venture that could be profitable while making a genuine difference, both socially and environmentally.  In the Ticuna language, Moxẽ means “thanks” or “gratitude” – a fitting name for a company built on appreciation for Colombia’s natural wealth and the farmers who nurture it.

Colombia’s regions face significant poverty and social vulnerability, yet they overflow with natural richness that offers extraordinary opportunities for innovation. Juan Carlos and Paola saw this contrast and asked: what if we could bridge this gap? The answer: bring high-quality chocolate produced by Colombian farmers to the world, creating a sustainable business model that links farmers and all participants in the value chain through social and environmental responsibility.
