The name says it all. Vinte Vinte (Twenty Twenty in Portuguese) references the latitudes 20°N and 20°S of the Equator — the sweet spot where cacao trees thrive and produce fruit on chocolate depends on. For founder Pedro Martins Araújo, it’s the perfect frame for a chocolate philosophy built entirely around where great flavour begins.
Pedro’s story is a chef’s story. He left Portugal young, travelled widely, and returned with a suitcase full of inspirations — and an unexpected calling. As he tells it, he didn’t choose chocolate; chocolate chose him. From that moment, he went deep: researching, travelling the cacao belt, seeking out the best terroir and the most carefully tended plantations.
The result is a genuinely bean-to-bar operation — made in Porto, with full traceability from raw ingredient to finished bar. Pedro selects his cacao with real care, sources only quality ingredients, and keeps a close eye on every stage of the journey. No shortcuts, no compromises.
Vinte Vinte chocolate is as much about craft as it is about passion.
Pedro’s ambition has always been is to share his passion with the world. We’re delighted to now share his chocolate with Australia!
