AMMA started in 2002, when Luiza and Diego returned to a family farm in the southern region of Bahia to promote organic farming methods. Since then the high quality and exceptional flavour of their beans has made them a favourite with big name chocolate makers and start up businesses alike.The mission of AMMA Chocoalate is to make chocolate, taking care of people and the environment in which they live. Their farms, located in the southern region of Bahia, grow cocoa in among amidst other vegetation, which provides protection and shade. With the factory nearby, AMMA have maximum control of the full process from tree to bar. See more
