Initially founded as Kakoa in 2013, the brand evolved and expanded and was relaunched in 2016 as Krakakoa. Their mission is to put their beliefs in the high quality of Indonesian products into action and change the way food production systems impact people and the planet, starting with cocoa. Their cacao beans are organically grown, and sourced from small farms that practice sustainable farming methods. They pay more than the Fairtrade Minimum price for the cocoa to ensure that farmers can make a good living from the hard work they do. See more
