Ucayali River Cacao partnered with USAID and Alianza Peru to offer a premium for wet cacao, giving local farmers access to an alternate market to cocaine. Monsoon Chocolate is our first chocolate maker from Arizona. This chocolate factory in Tucson is also home to their cafe. They draw inspiration from local ingredients and, as well as chocolate bars, they make bon-bons, desserts, and special cacao beverages. Last year they won 19 awards for the various flavoured products but we think their chocolate bars will be next to bring home some medals. See more
