Our 2019 November Subscriber boxes contained 4 special bars from Vietnam, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Hawaii USA & the Margret River in WA.
The Islands Chocolate team call themselves seed to bar having been made with cacao from trees planted by the family business. We tried at 70% dark + an 85% dark with nibs for the real dark chocolate lovers.
We sampled bars from Vietnam maker Marou. As well as their vegan milk chocolate and trying the Ben Tre 78% dark. We also sampled one of the new citrus favoured chocolate bars – the Kumquat 68% is one of our new favourites.
The Manoa bars are brilliant as always. We especially love their new Ghost Pepper milk bar. For the dark chocolate lovers we sampled the Esmeraldas beans from Ecuador.
The new packaging from Bahen & Co brings a fresh new look to this great Australian chocolate brand. We tried 3 bars – the Raspberry and rose, the Cherry and Coconut, and the Guatemala 75%.
What a fabulous month. We have some really exciting Christmas specials are lined up for December that we can’t wait to share with everyone!
