Welcome to our last Chocolate Subscription box for 2022. This year we got a bit excited about Christmas and selected 15 festive bars from around the world to build. We offered a festive Christmas option to all our subscribers. Everyone else enjoyed one festive bar and 3 end of year special treats.

In our regular Subscription boxes we featured Gabriel Chocolate from Busselton WA. We’d last featured Gabriel’s bars back in April 2021. We couldn’t resist some special new bars made with cacao from Uganda, El Salvador and their gorgeous Madagascar Milk. We also featured their Orange dark chocolate for some subscribers who love light cacao / inclusions.
Bare Bones Chocolate from Glasgow (UK) were some of our favourite bars back in 2019. This year we tried their new Madagascar and Guatemala dark bars and the 60% Honduras Milk.
The celebration bar for the end of year box this year was Dandelion Chocolate from San Francisco. We love an excuse to blow the budget at this time of year. It’s hard to go past the this American maker’s two ingredient chocolate bars. Only dark bars to choose from but we shared all three we could get our hands on – Maya Mountain, Tumaco and Costa Esmeraldas. Superb!
We couldn’t help but get the Christmas cheer started so everyone also received at Baron Hasselhoff’s Marj Christmas Trifle bar or a Chocolarder Special edition Gold Frankincense and Myrrh. What a way to end the year!
What is in store for Bean Bar You in 2023?
We’re having a summer pause again in January and February of 2023 – The store is still “open” but orders will ship in February once the worst of the summer weather has past. We’re taking this time to plan an amazing line up of special ethical chocolate bars for our subscription boxes in 2023. We’ve been growing rapidly despite the tougher times, there will likely be a few bars that end up being “subscribers only” due to logistical constraints.
